….I didn`t believe it was happening, so I popped into Lidl this afternoon to see if the pasta and bog roll isles were depleted.....Fuck my old boots.....They were

Just what in the fuck has happened to cause people to just buy bog roll and pasta, I suspect because it is just two random items, then it must be a social media thing.

But really, just what the fuck???? If I was in charge I would have some fun with the sheople  lOl People really are just clearly so easy to manipulate and that is a very dangerous thing.

George Orwell was so off the money when it comes down to it.....But then he did work for the BBC lOl

Monkey see, monkey do syndrome. They see some people doing something and they think, "what a great idea. I should do that too." And it starts with the "sky is falling, everything is going to kill us, panic generation."

Best confirmation of human selfishness and stupidity are the videos of people with 150 toilet rolls in their shopping trolly while nearby shoppers go without......and understandably kick off with those ignorant twats!

Respect to the little old lady who grabbed one pack off the overstocked trolly and then gave them a piece of her mind! ;)

We employ about 100 people, and use around 100 rolls of toilet paper per week. Supply is currently a problem, and rather predictably our usage seems to have gone through the roof!
We are advised that hand washing/ sanitization helps prevent the spread of germs, and getting hold of 100 bottles with the required 70% alcohol for all of our staff is a challenge!
And whilst I'm on about supply problems, I was wondering where medicine and drugs to help fight this virus are manufactured? Surely it can't be China! :headbang:

All a bit bonkers. I was in Aldi the other night and I thought I'd have a look just to give myself a laugh - loads of bog rolls ;) Totally threw me side left...

No hand sanitizer but plenty of soap, so all good :D

Folk are weird

They've finally gotten wise in Texas. Now that they've bought 6 months of paper, they realized there's not much point when nothing's coming out because they forget to buy food. So as of yesterday, the store parking lots are filled and all kinds of food is scarce, except the frozen food items, but that's due to most people not having enough freezer space to buy the place out. So, plenty of Stouffers lasagna pans to be had for those who can't cook from scratch.

Glad I bought more ammo yesterday.

What's the f####n panic with bog roll. Does nobody remember strips of newspaper tied to a piece of string in an outside loo. I do. At my grans. Coronation Street type back to back housing with an outside bog. Christ it was cold in winter. That was 50 years ago though :old: If we had to do that again how hard would it be. Better to do this before a shower or bath so you can wash all the print off your arse :hehe:
