That is stunning.

How does it feel after the Buell. Does it have the same engine character. I know it wont be as quick, but it looks like a lot of fun.

it feels like a civilised 60s british bike its not quick off the line but get thru the box keeping it in the torque band and it will show up a lot of other bikes in the twisties.i still ride with freinds with brit bikes and the only one who gets away is on a norvin.plus it will cruise at 80-90 allday with no dramas..ive had it 4 months and done 7500 miles so i think i like it :D

Made a detour to the nearest Enfield dealer on Sunday, and, as you do (when they are closed  ) stared lovingly at one in the window.

Very impressed, and more importantly, Mrs Dusty gave her nod of approval.

Latest news is delivery to Bahrain mid November :headbang:

On the upside, it will be a 2014 model (and I haven't a clue what the difference will be) :P

just got back from the Himalayas riding the foot hills on a Enfield.
total respect to these very tough little bikes.
we did over 1000mls and estimated 40,000 bends , pot hole you could camp in!!
animals ,monkeys dogs and cows everywhere ,buses and lorrys taking up all the road so dirt riding alot of the time ,
the tarmac often ran out and you were on real bad dirt roads for miles!!
the enfield coped with every situation brilliantly .

Do these Indian Enfields still have a floating bush big end, like the Brit ones did, or have they gone to shells or rollers?

I think that split race made it much more exciting. They should do that every race at mid point :yup:
