yeah , that is very pretty deep6 :

i always lusted after the black and gold mk2 le mans when i was young , but only ever managed to own a spada and a california;

but at least they were much kinder on the back: the girl i knew who had one said it was horribly uncomfortable after a few miles.

Nice looking bike and I recall seeing a prototype on dsiplay at the last NEC bike show.

what struck me then, and now, is that it needs 3 minor changes that would not cost the earth but would make a huge difference;

Rear-set pegs
Clip-on handlebars
Swept-back downpipe

THEN it will look like the Continental GT, a bike I lusted after in my yoof. The chances are it will go about as well, too :P .

Jon

I swapped my Fizzy for a Continental GT in seven boxes. I built it, rode it and then sold it to fund a '69 T120R. Wish I had kept both..............

Quite right :yup: Deposit paid already lOl

Has it arrived yet?

MCN had a feature last week, and I will admit to getting a tad moist.

I have been watching these for some time, after going to the launch party at the Ace Cafe on my 2001 500 Classic Bullet, i fell in love with them even more! :dance:
So i went to Haywards in Cambridge, had a go on thier demmo, and pick mine up this Thursday 26th.
Can't wait!, it's such a lovely, well balanced ride, certainly like no Enfield i've ever ridden before.
Will make a good stable companion for the other Enfield (Harry), which incidentaly, has just clocked up over 49,000 miles, and still going strong.......even if it is at 1950's paces lOl
I'll let you know how i get on ;)
