Why is it that when I open a topic, etc, the first image is the 1125something or other. Nice bike & all that but (I am probably being anal) it is irrating to have to scrol down to the topics. Sorry to be pedantic, the site really is excellent, but is there any way of avoiding the large image?

Well, you could turn off all the images in your browser, or clicking on the "new posts" button will take you straight to the first new post since you last viewed that topic.

You think it's bad on a computer, do not try it on a phone. I won't be doing that again.

If in Firefox, right click on the image and select - block image or as Norm says for IE.

Go to control panel, select mouse and click the wheel tab at the top and increase to 12 lines, click apply then ok. (see attached)

When you scroll with the mouse wheel the page will move to the bottom with one wheel stroke.

Surfing on a phone ... ?

I use my iPhone for keeping up with the forum most of the time, since I don't post that much anyway and it's fine. Saves getting my laptop out of the bag and waiting 3 seconds for it to wake up... ;)
