:maz: look away now...

My 1997 S1 still has the original '1st recall' shock fitted and because I've hardly used the bike over the past 3 or 4 years it hasn't been a major problem. Now that I'm going to ride it more :ill: I really need to get it (belatedly :oooops:) sorted.

Sooooo, does anyone have a '2nd recall' Buell shock gathering dust or an after-market shock available?

.....or better yet, take the bike to HDB in Leeds, tell Richard in parts that I/Allan Brownridge sent you for a free recall shock.
When they try to fob you off, get Richard to call Dave at Mcr.HDB as they have a K1400.C kit on the shelf ;)

It is definately worth doing Chris, I got a latest recall shock fitted completely FOC to my '98 S1W by Mcr HDB, courtesy of Maz noticing and pointing it out, as mine was an older recall. It was due to the fact that this is a safety recall and also TBH Mcr are top guys, thanks!!
I even got to go for a blast on their 1125R while the work was being carried out, very impressed!!!

Thanks, it's 'in hand', and should be sorted in the next few weeks.
