My mate is after a Avon Super Venom 110/90 r18 rear tyre for his 1969 BSA B50 cafe racer. They don't make them any more, although have found some in the states, have tried googling the obvious but cant find any in UK, any ideas or info welcome.
cheers Rich

Will they be worth having if they don't make them anymore? Wont the rubber have gone off?

Tyres have a life even if they're stored in ideal conditions, I really wouldn't like any 'old stock' stuff.

Cheers managed to get an Avon new equivalent.
My mate has a seriuos budget restriction at the mo so has to match the rear with existing front.
Avon????? your probably thinking but the super venom was reviewed as the best tyre full stop for this type of old bike when it was fitted 2 years ago.
There are now better ones out there but he can't afford a pair right now.
Thanx Rich

They are trying to pass a law over here preventing a tyre (tire!) being sold if it's over 9 years old, will see if I can find the report.
