Down pipes [headers] are stainless as oe. As Maz has mentioned many many times. As for muffler go for an Albert , see APH.

Yes I took offense !
I am totally new on this site , I believe it shows that on the left column !
Or any bike forum, for that matter .

Just bought one .
If this " MAZ " is a administrator of your ' club '
I do not need to be here .
Thanks for the welcome aboard .
Sincere apologies you are banging your 15 year old head against a brick wall .

Hi, wouldn't like to interrupt your rant. Credentials Maz ===
One of the most knowledgeable people around for these bikes and could be one of the few to speak directly to the man that designed/built rides the the things over here. He actually assists many with their machines over the internet for FREE. He also tries very hard to run a business assisting those that can't get it sorted themselves. Oh yes, he is one of the "originals" of the site, hence administrator tag. He has actually covered your point as have many others on this site.

It appears that you fly, or flew, aeroplanes. Played with Jaaaaags. ( Bit of Clarkson there !) Well its horses for courses, and so my tip would be, try the search button that the "administrators" kindly set up at the top of the page ??? It is highly beneficial when searching for common Items.

I also have a nearly new Remus that I will be removing along with the DB killers, these can be removed if you wish. It is completely stainless, like all shiny and new. It comes off in January when I get back from my hols. I'm flying in a Jet. You're not working are you ?
:yup:

Tadpole.
Ships Master Mariner.
Dredger Master.
Tug Skipper.
Ships engineer.
Radio General Operators ticket.
Rebreather Diver.
Company owner, UK and Overseas.

I ask Maz and some others that know their stuff about the bike, it short-circuits those that don't know.

I also have my Ships Medic ticket just in case the stress gets up there. :uhoh:

I responded to your email (I am actually the day to day Admin).

Lots about stainless headers and polishing them on the forum, e.g.:

This is surely one of the most friendly and helpful forums around, with good advice from experts and experienced owners alike, all freely offered despite the 'cost' of accumulating it. It would appear however, that some people are beyond help, some appear to not even be able to use a search function or open messages... :yc: ...and yet, ye gods, they are permitted to fly...
Will he now have the humility and good grace to apologise for his totally unnecessary outburst?
:eat:
