OK i know i'm going to regret this, the time has come for me and the cyclone to part company. it's a good bike (not cosmetically perfect) for 11years old, with lots of recent parts. i want £2700, if any one is interested i'll post all the details tomorrow.

Good points:- late model gearchange and clocks (tacho)
Oil and filter change every 1000miles since i've had it.
Billet forkbrace, front pully cover, ignition cover and rider footpegs.
Recent tyres, steering head bearings, drive belt, battery, fork seals, brake pads and wheel bearings (hahaha).
hyperpro fork springs.
Factory carbon air filter.
2.5" American spec down pipes with wileyco can.
NRHS pushrod tube clamps (not fitted).
Spare seat with slight rip.
Spare fork stanchions.
American spec rear pulley.
Ventura rack and grabrail.
Late model rocker gaskets fitted.

Bad points:- A few minor scratches and chips in the paint work.
Some small patches of rust on frame.
paint chips on fork sliders.
Had slight weep on 1 pushrod base, but cured with a smear of silicone.

It's done 20,000 miles,it's MOT'd for 10 months and ive got MOT's going back to 2002 and it's taxed until the end of jan 2011.
I really don't want to get rid, but i need something more practical!..

Any one????

If you are after practicality, I would suggest a cheap car.

Keep your Buell! ;)

I might be too boring for you, but we have a Yamaha FJR1300 which is perfect for touring, especially two up, and so far we have done nearly 33,000 miles in 5 years and no problems at all!!!!

i know FJRs are great bikes, but a Guzzi would do me fine, as long as it'll cruise all day at 80 it'll do me. i must be getting old!...hahaahahhaha
