First up this bike is in AUSTRALIA so no smart arse comments about the price I am asking
Long time - no posting and no riding
Which I why my 25th Buell anniversary badged 2008 XB12Ss Lightning is up for sale.
I have only ridden it twice since Christmas 2009 as other interests are taking my time and, frankly I would like to roll the money from the Buell in to them.
On to the bike.
I bought it new in October 2007 from Wayne Leonards in Cairns.
17000 careful Km, always garaged, never commuted or ridden in the rain [If at all possible ]
Its just been a very nice toy and garage decoration.
Fantastic translucent "Cherry Bomb" plastics
Basically standard but currently has bar end mirrors and cut down stumpy levers fitted.
I have also gotten rid of the yuk chrome bars and replaced them with TruTaper grey anodised 1 1/8 bars that feel great and match the colour of the frame .
Never dropped and basically free off any significant cosmetic marks except for the usual things you would expect from 17k of road riding.
From 2 feet it still looks new.
I will also throw in a genuine Buell branded work shop tool kit consisting of Ratchet , sockets, allen keys, torx, spanners etc in the Buell wallet - I think it was around $400.00 as an option
Will road worthy and ensure it has 6 months rego prior to delivery.
I will get it as far south as Townsville for a genuine buyer free, but would help with shipping arrangements out of Cairns if required [at buyers cost]

Beautiful, and rare in your area, I should think. Even here in the States, one does not see Ss's up for sale often.
