Aren't the mounting screws set at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock on the tube framed models?
Although, not really a problem if you don't mind the text not being horizontal.

I myself thought they had drilled in wrong place. But when i came to fit it. I drilled out the 2 rivets at 9 and 3 and removed first cover. Then underneath were the 2 screws at about 11 and 5 holding another plate one in which this replaces with the fixing ring and new screws ;) Dont know how these would fit on tubers to be fare.

Clear would be cool as you could put your tax disc behind it.
That's if it would fit.

I think that would be illegal. The tax disc should be on the nearside and within 1/3 distance from the front of the bike. No one wants to do anything illegal now do they ;)

To be honest I don't know why you have to display a tax disc now as they can check on the computer anyway.
In fact these ANPR cameras check as you drive/ride past.
