Ok... I'm thinking of selling my X1...

I've only had it around 3 months after buying it from Rick. I'm struggling to get on with it. It's a great bike and I see it's appeal but it's just not for me.. I guess you don't know till you try it.

This is the detail that Rick advertised as I think it says it all.

Rhubarb and custard (red yellow) has been put back to original colour black,
and is up for sale.
2001 model been through Maz's workshop at 4000 miles
Rocker cover and primary gaskets changed
breather mods done with catch bottle
Airbox removed and Forcewinder filter fitted
Pirelli Diablo Strada tyres fitted and 5000mile service completed

Primary oil (HD) and engine oil (HD 20/50) and filter changed at 7200 miles

PM polished wheels were fitted from new and I am the second owner. (The first owner covered just 2500 miles).

Bike is now showing 9300 miles with no problems and can only be described as very clean see pics.
Taxed till Sept 2010 and is going for new MOT Monday 22nd

Thought I'd try and keep this with the enthusiasts before ebaying... Would anyone be interested? All I'm looking to do is recoup what I paid. I'm sure I'd get more on ebay but life's too short and it would get appreciated more here.

I paid £3150 which includes the US gearing stuff and speedo...

Thanks all....

A great bike at a realistic price, I'm sure it will sell quickly.

Andy I really am going to slap you silly. You change bikes more often than most women change their shoes

Obviously I'm not most women because I detest clothes shopping ;) :hehe:

If you lay it down the seat almost touches the ground....

Watch out for loss of fluids tough..... particularly bodily fluids when trying to pick it up again lOl lOl lOl

Two thoughts prompted by that ...... when my XT seat was touching the ground on a hairpin somewhere in the Mosel valley, and the sight of Pete tottering on tiptoes, unable to get off his bike to help! lOl lOl
