Bargain new EBRs to be had, even with the shocking exchange rate at the moment. Low offers appear to be considered, some have been accepted (SX 7500 was accepted - insane).

Plus VAT at 20%, Plus import duty at least 2%, plus shipping, plus no parts availability, plus no warranty whatsoever = not a bargain sadly.

From memory this is how it works - Base Price + Insurance + Shipping = Cost to UK. Then Cost from UK to Home = Cost to UK + 8% duty + 20% VAT. Not such a bargain.

Oh, and there are very good reasons why they're bargains in the first place.
