2008 Buell XB12XT Ulysses - FOR SALE
Black - c15K miles - full luggage set
Fitted with '06 Headers and an "Albert" exhaust.
Free Spirits belt tensioner.
Transmission grease nipple mod by Maz
Air box breather mod by Maz and K&N air filter
New upgraded G0500.1AKF belt fitted last year.
Full service history
Full set of keys + key code card
MOT April 2017
Looking for close to 4K - plus lets add £50 donation to UKBEG site which I will match.

This is "well sorted" bike which previously belonged to two other UKBEG members - it's in good condition. Unfortunately due to my health issues the bike has not been used much in past few months however Ursus took the bike out for a ride last week before deciding on buying a 2010 UlyX and by Steve's account it ran well.

Despite having been talked out of selling three months ago with these damn health issues and now an impending emigration to Malta at the end of the year it doesn't make any sense to hold onto the bike just for a couple of weeks riding in Oct/Nov . ( when it will undoubtedly be cold and wet !)

Let me know if interested. :sun:

Notable potholes - dry dusty tracks - traffic jams in towns - short distances - high temperatures unsuitable for air cooled V twins :(

Come on guys - give me a break here :headbang:

I should bear some of the responsibility here. I fancied Fei-Lo's bike when he posted it for sale before and found myself thinking about it more and more. I didn't want to be responsible for persuading him to part with it then regret it so we agreed that I would take a look, give it an airing then leave him to make his mind up.

The bike is nice and has all the right mods including the bigger headers from the earlier model mated to a suitable muffler from Albert666. Trouble is, while Fei-Lo was thinking about it, I was tempted by a 2010 XB12X which I'm now the proud owner of.

I don't think the man is taking this lightly, his pins are in a worse state than mine and he's decided what he wants to do. Don't make it more difficult for him.

Good luck, Fei-Lo and sorry again for dicking you about :4roz:

Steve

sounds just like the M6 Junction 8-22 on a good day , or the M60 at rush hour :headbang:

there is always http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/m ... 95401.html

but as said with the high temps and traffic jams not really suited to an air cooled V twin , all the best FEI-LO

That's true, but as prices are considerable higher over here, it will pay off.

Good news is it went to a genuine bike enthusiast (Roy with 20+ bikes) from Windsor area and despite what I told him, he said he would be joining UKBEG ;)
