Obviously someone was happy to buy it, regardless of whether you think it was worth buying, so whats the problem? The seller hasn't tried to con anyone, they've listed it as a used part, and if someone wants to buy it, up to them...

Possibly he wanted it to experiment on ...changing the bush? ...using as a drilling jig? ...doorstop or paperweight?

A bit harsh Maz, the rubber was very firm and the part was removed from a bike with less than 4k miles. If I needed one I'd have paid £30 all day. But then I suppose you would always use new parts, how much is a new isolator and bolt? I bet the bolt is £20

Thanks for backing me up there.
The belt may be bin fodder but I aint asking owt for it! That said the belt was damaged in France and got the rider back to Yorkshire so it'd do someone a turn as an emergency.

It was a good part with just tatty paint - I would have no issues using it on my own Buell.

I contacted the guy who bought the isolator and he says the following..

ME: Hello ****, has the isolator arrived yet? Are you happy with it? I just noticed Maz on UKBeg is having a rant about me selling it frown emoticon

Hi, the isolator arrived on Monday, I've been away and just got back this afternoon. The part's okay, I intended using it on an XB12S based custom. Maz is ranting, I think I've heard that before.
