Buell Blast for sale. The bike is Black, totally standard apart from a stainless exhaust upgrade, 500cc single, and sounds alot bigger than it is. The bike has just had new battery and belt from Harley Davidson in Birmingham with receipt to prove. Comes with lots of paperwork. Registered as a 51 but is infact a 52 bike. No tax or mot at present. It has been stored for 2yrs, however it had been started regularly and taken on short rides periodically. Only done 7333. Looking for a quick sale. Full logbook in my name. I know they sell for around 2 grand with mot, but i am realistic and would like 900 as it is. Can be ridden away if you want to risk it with no tax or mot. Msg me with your email address and i will send pictures to you as i cant work out how to put them on here. I am also in the Midlands area, (Shropshire).

There's 2 belts for Blasts, 135T and 139T......before you ordered, I asked you to confirm which you needed, you said you needed a 135T belt, which is what I sent you.
The belt was delivered to you within 24 hours of the order, post and packing was 10 quid for guaranteed next day delivery with insurance.
Several days after you got the belt, you PM'd to say you couldn't get it to fit and was there some adjustment you were missing :x
I PM'd you back saying that you'd obviously ordered the wrong belt and you needed the 139T........you said you would post the belt back to me......I asked you what I was supposed to do with a brand new belt that you'd tried to force onto the bike ie. how could I re-stock it ?.......and what about the tenner postage ?
This was nearly 2 months ago........I've had nothing from you and you've ignored my PM's.

........and peeps wonder why I wont do mail order anymore :sad1:

I can well understand that experiences like this are going to leave a sour taste Maz, but I suspect that this is a minority incident. Why not only post items out following cleared payment including postage charges. People are willing to pay up front for ebay items from sellers they don't even know. I'm pretty sure they would pay up front for goods from you.

Not wanting to re-open the mail order debate, but it's a logical approach to dealing with folk.

11 years I operated a Buell parts mail order service and yes, you're correct, I was never messed about in all that time.
The whole point of the trust thing was to get parts out rapidly so peeps could get their bikes sorted asap without having to wait whilst funds cleared etc........as most know, I dont take card payments :oooops:
To be honest, I only sent the Blast belt as the guy was a new member and was desperate.......wish I hadn't bothered now and rest assured, I wont be making the same mistake again :(

Goldy, you're a disgrace.
One of the best things about the community here on UKBEG is the sense of honour.
Hope when you've sold the Blast you'll do one honourable thing and f@ck off yourself.
