If anyone is planning to buy some Ventura luggage for this season drop me a line first. I have the setup for 1125R/CR with two (zip together) aero spada VII bags storm cover, backpack straps, packrack, grabhandle.

I am hesitant to sell as I still have the bike so won't be fluffing with eBay drama but am happy to pass on to anyone here in need. Price will be 50% (+post) of new from here https://www.ventura-bike.co.uk/ (and I will send 10% of that to Alison for forum upkeep)

Only looking to sell as missus is giving me a little bit of grief about filling our little 1 bed flat up with stuff (just bought the Uly and luggage plus touring gear, stacked on top of track kit etc etc etc lOl ) This is my way of 'compromise' ... ALSO I really wanted to buy one of those salt guns for the flies this year, but there is just no room!! Maybe next year :)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/BUG-SALT-2-0-F ... s=salt+gun

Postage won't be cheap as bags are 100 litres but Hermes signed for can be not too bad.

May split, drop me a line... VGC

Nate

FIFTY QUID! you must be barking!
Got flies in the house?...get a clear "ziplock" freezer bag.. fill three quarters with water...throw in half dozen or so pennies (shiny ones preferably)....tie neck of bag with string...hang near front/back door (or wherever the annoying fuckers get in( in direct sunlight helps)) job done!

I have seen this, in a restaurant. It seemed to work!

No where near as much fun as shooting the little buggers from your seat in front of the TV though :)

Hmmm....I get it!
 Go down the fishing tackle shop, buy a pint (or whatever measure it is nowadays) of maggots...breed your own stock for shooting!
Very pikey gamekeeper ;) lOl

lOl :rotfl:

We were pretty poor as kids and couldn't afford real toys like the city kids so we would catch blowflies and stick em in the freezer just long enough to knock em out...

Get them out, drop a spot of melted wax on them with a length of cotton, fly them around the house (trick is not getting wax on the wings). That and dry cow pat frisbies, hours of entertainment!

The icehouses (biker bars) do that in Texas. The flys aren't scared of the magnification. Perhaps the flys had gotten into the bourbon for a shot of courage.
