For sale with 20k on the clock and numerous extras. I will post more details if anyone is interested. Finding it a bit tall since breaking my femur and ending up with one leg shorter than the other, or one longer if you look at it from a different viewpoint!

That are the normal standards these day's!
They can't do things in one session either anymore and when released from hospital you have more scars then with arrival!

Good looking bike btw! :yup:

Set perfectly, you can't even see the break on x-rays. Something to do with the reduced blood flow, apparently it happens in all hip replacement operations as well.

Well, if they know that, they should set them 'long' to allow for it... :old:
Or break the other side, to match. lOl

I did suggest a matching break to the consultant but he wasn't very amused and he didn't even have a spinning bow tie

Poor sods can't afford them these days... 'cuts'...
And you should've suggested he came in on a weekend to do it... mind you, you weren't in a fit state to run, were you...! lOl

That's a shit one, having to sell such a gorgeous bike because of that, can you not "lower" the bike somehow?
As an aside....when I broke (nasty compound) my right tib/fib (got bitten.....by a Bandit) there was a period when there was consideration toward amputation below the knee....The surgeon asked me "what will you do if we take it off"?
He wasn't amused in the slightest when I replied "Buy a Ducati 916 and a thumb brake"!

Not straightforward Martin and I feel my adventure into adventure bikes is done. A lovely bike as you say but if it doesn't feel right then time to change

I thought maybe a lower saddle would sort it, but as you feel the adventure into adventure is over, it's better to walk away (albeit with a limp) than not walk away at all
Come to think of it, aren't ALL bikes are an "Adventure" bike?

Bend the swingarm and slide the fork leg up on the side of your short leg, that way bothe will reach the floor again ;)
It doesn't always end up with one leg shorter than the other after a broken hip because both of Ronnies reach the same distance behind her ears the same as they did before her opp ;) lOl
