:yt:about 100 miles then refuel :idea: , also depends on the type of roads you have just been on and how energetically you have ridden them as to how much fuel you have left, we are all getting older and these Buell aren’t getting any lighter to push if you run out of fuel .

I'm guessing that must be the lardy M2. On my skinny one I was lucky to get to a fuel station if it went on reserve. I used to go by the trip meter, 110 miles then panic.

It doesn't really matter how fuel it holds in reserve as long as you know ;) , with it being a carb model it will be the length of the tube on the fuel tap that governs what is left ;)

Is it just going on to reserve too early or totally running out of fuel? I seem to remember there being a discrepancy in the length of the reserve tube on the fuel tap on some bikes.

I have given up trying to change over to reserve on the move, nearly impossible with adult sized hands in motorcycle gloves and the tap obscured by the frame. Just pull over, swap onto reserve with pull away again, so much less stress

Bike doesn't have a fuel sensor but it does have a trip counter and reserve fuel.

Ye, fill up soon as light comes on ...As you know, you get the reserve COUNT UP at this point, a COUNT DOWN would be nice...like my car....

My light has gone missing.....Not seen for a while..Got book out and tank holds 16.7 total....reserve is 3.1...so, i think that means, when i fill up, if pump puts in less than 13.6 ltr then my light shoudnt be on...Trip shows 171 miles...Im sure light used to come on ...
